PUTTING PRACTICE

ReturnRamp Target

A target area with a route back.

A raised approach, a rear bowl and an open side channel define the intended ball path.

ReturnRamp Target brings a fixed target shape to a suitable flat putting mat. A ball rolls up the broad approach and into the rear bowl; when it enters at a suitable pace, the sloped side channel can guide it toward the front outlet. The movement relies on gravity and the setup, without motors, batteries or a spring-fired return.

THOUGHTFUL DETAILS

One body, with an observable ball path.

A broad approach surface

The front ramp leads toward a single rear bowl. It forms the route into the target rather than a flat tray for loose balls.

A defined side route

The open channel is intended to guide a ball from the bowl toward the front. Keep that route clear before another attempt.

No powered mechanism

The body has no moving gates or motors. Correct placement and the molded height differences provide the intended movement.

Accessible surfaces

The ramp, bowl and channel remain open for inspection. Remove grit that could affect rolling before starting a session.

THE DESIGN APPROACH

A defined path rather than loose-ball storage.

A shared tray leaves balls together in one collection area. The target uses a ramp, bowl and side path for a practice sequence. Balls that miss the bowl, enter at an unsuitable speed or meet an obstruction are not guaranteed to return.

EVERYDAY USE

Place level and keep the exit clear.

  1. Set the target

Place it on a suitable flat mat with the low entry edge and front outlet facing the practice position.

  2. Inspect the surfaces

Clear the bowl and channel. Confirm the base sits evenly and that the mat does not lift the entry edge.

  3. Roll and observe

Putt one ball toward the bowl. Watch its route and retrieve it after it stops; do not block the channel with your hand.

  4. Reset and store

Clear the outlet before the next ball. Lift the empty complete body by its outer sides and wipe it before storage.
